This was my second attempted project. After the first one went so well I thought, “Well, this is easy! I’m sure I can handle something more difficult.” And man, was I wrong. Not only was there the issue of me using the wrong kind of yarn, which was WAY too thick, and also using cards that were too small and heavy for the project, but I also wasn’t used to weaving with separate packs of cards yet. It made for a very frustrating time, and there was never anything as satisfying as the day I finally gave in and cut this project off of my loom. I wound up with enough length for maybe a bookmark.
We’ll try this pattern again when I’ve had more experience under my belt.
